Don't be scared
Ever go to an event and you see a lot of people with suits on looking all good and talking with big words... Don't be scared to approach them, under all those clothes, they're just like us... Working their business and maybe struggling just like the next small business...

Listen! Approaching people is not the hard part... Getting people to like you is not the hard part... The hard part is you loving yourself enough that it flows out of you, which in returns draw people to you...
Material traveling..
How do you know if your marketing material is working... If it travels and travels without you, it's working... for example some people gives out cards and they go right into the trash... Make sure your cards are so nice, that people don't ...want to throw them away... Ex: I got a new client yesterday who called me and wants my services because she found my card on Septa subways... the card was to colorful for someone to through it away, so they left it on the seat and she picked it up... I made $200 for having a cute postcard... alrighty now... what do your marketing materials look like.. do they look like everyone else or are you unique like me... lol
UnProfessional Period
I had to teach while on break today. Was at Sam's and lady stopped me and was giving me a demonstration of her product.. You all know I love supporting my small businesses. She assumed I wasn't going to buy, so I was asking her questions an...d then someone was walking... She stopped talking to me and went over to lady and left me there... the lady said no thank you... She then came back to table and I said no thank you also... People don't start a demonstration and then try to grab someone else, this is not professional... she just lost a $100 sale instantly... I really was going to buy it, so I kindly wrote down the name of products and told her I"ll go online and order it... Her lost...she followed me all over the store with the pouting look...
Goals
The key to reaching your goals is to keep it simple... Do short goals... The wrong thing for you to do is to have a page full of goals... I think having three goals at a time is better... So reduce, reduce and reduce... Once you finish those three, than add three more... Remember sometimes less is best...
Be Yourself
You don't have to be like the other Small business owner, Coach, or Author. Be yourself... So what if you're different... So what if your body is not like hers.. So what if you're Website is not as awesome as hers, So What... Don't judge a book by it's cover, she can be deep in debt, broke and tired and looking at you and wishing she can be like you... Be yourself... Remember it's only ONE of you, so enjoy life..
Everyone is not your Client
Listen! Everyone is not your client... Again, everyone is not your client... I choose who I deal with... The reason is because you will get those whose very sophisticated and think they know it all and then you'll get the ones who very small but don't want to do the work... So yes, I turn down clients... As the saying goes you can take the horse to the water, but you can't make him drink it.... Learn how to use your Intuition it will save you a lot of headaches and heartaches..

Yes, I have five businesses, but do I sit
there and run all five of them... NO WAY... I focus my time on the more
important things of the businesses.. I always get people asking me how I
do it... Simple.. I delegate or hire others to do the
job for me... I can not do it all by myself, but we all do work
together for the common goal... When I say I want to have an enterprise I
wasn't kidding... So again... NO ... I don't do everything myself...
For example.. my candle company Inspired Soy Smoothies Fireless Candles and more .. I do not make the candles at all... Pastry Divas I do not make cakes at all...my Marketing company Divalyn Small Business Guru
I don't not pass out post cards or business cards for distribution at
all... I have part-time workers... see where I'm getting at... If you
want to be successful you need to have successful people working with

Cold Marketing don't work, Stop IT...
STOP! Don't go sending people person inbox
messages offering your services to them before you even know them. Then
you want to know why you get so many NO's... Don't do it... Cold
marketing don't work that way anymore... People hold onto their
money and want to know what you offer... You have to show them your
product is worth it... So next time you want to send someone info about
your product and they don't know you, say to yourself how much you hate
when people do this to you... Don't do it... Stop FORCING your products
on people... It Don't work... Building a relationship is always the

Don't Judge me for Being Unique
Don't judge me because I'm a Unique Business Owner... Don't judge me because I do things totally different from others... See I believe old school don't work, why do you think so many people are unemployed... I believe to survive out here y...ou have to be different and unique... So don't judge me because I wear my business t-shirts everyday, I advertise for free, don't judge me because I know how to pull the money in... so wait... Do I have a special scent I spray on me and a special lotion that I put on me, that draw people to me... Yes, I do... They don't call me the BEAST for nothing... I wore this scent last month at a Fossil store and the manager was like oh my goodness you smell like a bakery... I said I'm the owner of Pastry Divas and here's my card... she said I will be ordering from you, then I said by the way this is my other company Scentsy you smelling... it's called Sugar Cookie body lotion... she did nothing but smiled... When you're a great marketer like me you do the strangest things... What have you done strange to pull in some clients... #TheBeast
