Different is good

I don't want to be you, don't want to act like you, don't want to look like you and don't want your negativity to come anywhere close to me... I think differently, act different and my thoughts are different... Better yet, I grow different, I learn different and I am different...My flow, my walk, my talk is different... If you can't handle that, then go learn something different. Love being me

Nothing

Really... You set goals that's easy to meet... Who does that... Set it high, work it hard and yes be scared, but doing nothing is just that NOTHING... Solve this equation: Nothing + Nothing = Nothing...

Support is important

I just got off phone with a friend who ask me about joining organizations/memberhsip and what do I think about it... First, I love the different organizations and what they stand for... But, be careful... some just want the money...In the l...ast year, I've joined 15 organizations with some fees from $50 - $300 and I tell you my best supporter was ME... I had one that I was a speaker and I order 1,000's of postcards just to cancel my event... I had one that I market big time and never started, just to refund me... I had one who took my $200 and never even mentioned my businesses... So be careful and research before you pay... Joining the right organization will help you grow!! #Becareful

 

 

Next, you don't need them...

I see I have to repeat myself again... my client calls sad because she noticed some people don't like her... How many times do I have to say this.. You will have people that follow everything you do, you will have people that roll their eye...s at you, you will have people who can't stand what you do and you will have people who wish you would fail.... I say the same answer to all of them. Some WILL, Some WON'T and So WHAT!! NEXT! Now don't call me with this again, I might have to charge you a fee!!!

Leap with your Comfort Zone

Really do you think you have to know 

everything before you take that LEAP... Did you know most success come from making a lot of mistakes and not knowing what the end result will be... So go ahead take the leap, get past your comfort zone and see what's the worst that can happen!! I bet you feel better afterwards.... Bet Ya!

Success with Failure

If you didn't know this yet, let me tell you... Most successful people are successful because they been through a lot of crap... They failed more times than most... They cried more times than most and they spend more times than most... so keep getting up and keep trying, you're almost there... Success can't prosper without failures...

Living within your means

Decision making! I just came to the conclusion, I wanted to buy a bigger house... I wanted a bigger house, but my child is 28 and gone... my little 3 bedroom house that I brought when I was 23 is fine for me... my Suv that I brought 11 yea...rs ago is good for me.... sometimes people we have to appreciate what we already got...Don't try to keep up with others, they might just be broke or struggling. My businesses are good for me... Recognize what you got and enjoy it, be happy... #Evelyninspires

Pamper me

I notice how people gets into the hair, nails , feet and weight...We shop at bath and body works, but won't shop for a decent business card.. If only we take care of our business the way we take care of ourselves, we would be so much more successful...

Don't be scared

Ever go to an event and you see a lot of people with suits on looking all good and talking with big words... Don't be scared to approach them, under all those clothes, they're just like us... Working their business and maybe struggling just like the next small business...

Love me some Me

Listen! Approaching people is not the hard part... Getting people to like you is not the hard part... The hard part is you loving yourself enough that it flows out of you, which in returns draw people to you...

Material traveling..

 

How do you know if your marketing material is working... If it travels and travels without you, it's working... for example some people gives out cards and they go right into the trash... Make sure your cards are so nice, that people don't ...want to throw them away... Ex: I got a new client yesterday who called me and wants my services because she found my card on Septa subways... the card was to colorful for someone to through it away, so they left it on the seat and she picked it up... I made $200 for having a cute postcard... alrighty now... what do your marketing materials look like.. do they look like everyone else or are you unique like me... lol

UnProfessional Period

 

I had to teach while on break today. Was at Sam's and lady stopped me and was giving me a demonstration of her product.. You all know I love supporting my small businesses. She assumed I wasn't going to buy, so I was asking her questions an...d then someone was walking... She stopped talking to me and went over to lady and left me there... the lady said no thank you... She then came back to table and I said no thank you also... People don't start a demonstration and then try to grab someone else, this is not professional... she just lost a $100 sale instantly... I really was going to buy it, so I kindly wrote down the name of products and told her I"ll go online and order it... Her lost...she followed me all over the store with the pouting look...

Goals

 

 

The key to reaching your goals is to keep it simple... Do short goals... The wrong thing for you to do is to have a page full of goals... I think having three goals at a time is better... So reduce, reduce and reduce... Once you finish those three, than add three more... Remember sometimes less is best...

The reason some people are more successful than others is because some people back is against the wall they have no choice. 

You are what you hang around. If you hang around drunk people, others will think you're a drunk even if you only drink water. If you hang around successful people others will think you successful. So go ahead and hang around TOXIC people all you want and watch what happen. Toxic=Dead End 

Listen! You can have the best veggies ever and your kids still might not like them. You might have the best Business out there and people still might not sign on. But, if you have a great attitude and feel confident in yourself you will win them everytime. So smile, be happy and reap the rewards.. 

Be Yourself

You don't have to be like the other Small business owner, Coach, or Author. Be yourself... So what if you're different... So what if your body is not like hers.. So what if you're Website is not as awesome as hers, So What... Don't judge a book by it's cover, she can be deep in debt, broke and tired and looking at you and wishing she can be like you... Be yourself... Remember it's only ONE of you, so enjoy life..

Everyone is not your Client

Listen! Everyone is not your client... Again, everyone is not your client... I choose who I deal with... The reason is because you will get those whose very sophisticated and think they know it all and then you'll get the ones who very small but don't want to do the work... So yes, I turn down clients... As the saying goes you can take the horse to the water, but you can't make him drink it.... Learn how to use your Intuition it will save you a lot of headaches and heartaches..

Yes, I have five businesses, but do I sit there and run all five of them... NO WAY... I focus my time on the more important things of the businesses.. I always get people asking me how I do it... Simple.. I delegate or hire others to do the job for me... I can not do it all by myself, but we all do work together for the common goal... When I say I want to have an enterprise I wasn't kidding... So again... NO ... I don't do everything myself... For example.. my candle company Inspired Soy Smoothies Fireless Candles and more .. I do not make the candles at all... Pastry Divas I do not make cakes at all...my Marketing company Divalyn Small Business Guru I don't not pass out post cards or business cards for distribution at all... I have part-time workers... see where I'm getting at... If you want to be successful you need to have successful people working with you... Work smarter not harder... ‪#‎Evelyninspires‬

Negative X-friends will look small, negative family members will seem to disappear, negative co-workers seems to don't matter... You will know...
